How the British won the American Revolutionary War

Gene Procknow published an article last week on the Journal of the American Revolution blog arguing that British gains from the global conflict that was the American Revolution outweighed their loss of the 13 American Colonies and thus the American Revolution was a win for the British.

  1. I suppose Britain being forced to turn their focus to the East and India proved very profitable.

      Thanks for the reading the blog and the comment. Yes, India and the East did prove to be very profitable for the Empire but, as Gene pointed out in his article, the British colonies in the Caribbean and Central America were also quite profitable (sugar).
